1975 Mississippi Camporee
| Description: This insignia was available to all scouts
attending the Mississippi District Spring Camporee in 1975. Because
the patch makes reference the "1st OA Ceremony" the Blue Book
and some who collect Order of the Arrow patches will consider this to also be
a chapter issued patch. After four years allowing each chapter to conduct Ordeal tapouts, we took the next step to allow them to conduct the full pre-Ordeal, Ordeal, and Ordeal Ceremony. This patch commemorates that event in the Mississippi District. The Blue Book references this as the chapter x1975 issue. |
