YJ1 Fake

Blue Book: YJ1

Description:       This patch was the original prototype of the Blue Book J4. The original artwork attempted to indicate stitch direction on the lettering. These markings were interpreted as the desire for Gray Letters with Black lines in each letter. One prototype was provided to the Lodge Advisor by the manufacturer which was rejected for the production run. In reviewing the sample Marsha Bufkin, in our council office, suggested the final combination of colors actually used. This one prototype is now in the possession of the former Lodge Advisor. Designed by Mike Garner.

Quantity Known: 1 made.
Characteristics: Grayish Black letters with Black stitching on each letter; Apx 225mm.
