YJ2 Triangle

Blue Book: YJ2

Description: During the design process for our fourth issue of the Vigil Blanket patch Blue Book J7, this prototype was produced for review. At that time it was noticed that the intended hidden fdl was incorrectly yellow in color. Also, the dark blue elements were not thick enough resulting in the underlying yellow or white bleeding through. Finally, there was a chain-stitch between all lettering. In working with the manufacturer, these elements were cleaned up in the final production run. A total of two prototypes were produced, none of which will be distributed. Produced in 2001.

Quantity Known: 2 made.
Characteristics:   WHT solid background, YEL fdl above "413", RED/YEL in fire, Chain-stitch between all letters, DBL rolled edge, PB, 265x230mm. Prototype markings on back.
