Blue Book: YS2
| Description: This is a prototype of
our Blue Book S31. It can quickly be identified by the Black stitched
line around the Red arrow and Gray cloud. The fdl is also one shade Blue darker
than the sky. The final design removed the Black line and made the fdl the same
shade thread as the background sky area. Two samples were received by the Lodge Advisor in January 2000. One is still in his possession and the other in the possession of the then Lodge Chief. A few examples were acquired from a Canadian source, so probably more were made and later disposed of, perhaps by the manufacturer or an employee. This same Canadian seller was also the source of other overrun / reject / prototypes that appeared on the market. |
