1993 JSP Gold 1

1993 JSP Gold Border - version 1

Description:       This JSP was available for the 1993 National Jamboree. It was intended for limited distribution to members of the jamboree contingent. When this initial batch of patches was received, it was quickly noticed that the gold mylar border was very loose. A small number had been distributed when it was decided to reject the patches and have a second set produced with higher quality. This version is from the original order.

Besides the relatively loose border, there is also a 4mm gap in the lettering between the "XIII" and the "National". The council name also is 103mm wide. There was also a red border version that was produced higher quantities and which was intended for general use and trading at the jamboree. "CV" in the design represents our camp "Cedar Valley".

Characteristics: Gold mylar rolled edge (loose); Dark Green letters; Red fdl; 64x132mm. Name is 103mm; 4mm gap.
