Description: In September 2003 we sponsored our first post-merger homecoming
back to Camp Cedar Valley. 155 former and current Scouts, camp staff members and
families attended the inaugural weekend of activities. These included canoeing,
hiking, fishing, rifle and shotgun shooting, exhibits of memorabilia from our
history, a golf outing to Mt. Home and was capped off with a special camp fire
Saturday evening.
We produced three insignia for the weekend as momentoes. The Blue border version shown here was available to individuals who staffed the event. A Green border version was available for anyone who attended the event as well as a special Red border version that was presented to Mr. Allen Bush, as a special "Directors" thank you patch. The design is based on a combination of our original camp patch design with the Order of the Arrow Lodge 413 totem combined with the "CV" design, developed by Andrew Eastman. The year "2003" is also incorporated into the design. |
Date of Homecoming: September 2003. Quantity Issued: 50. Characteristics: Blue rolled edge; Off-White background; Black lettering; Blue pocket loop; 89x104mm. |
