| Description: This was our wettest Homecoming to date! Heavy rain hit early Saturday morning, and for a time, visitors could not cross the low water bridge to enter camp. But we survived and, while attendance suffered a bit, we still had a lot of fun and were able to get out and see the camp. Cody Milburn took the helm as the event chairman / camp director doing a superbe job. The food was great too. As part of the days activities, the golf outing still happened - in fact it didn't even rain at the course (who'd they bribe?!) Saturday afternoon, we held a silent auction which raised over $660 for Scout camperships to be awarded in the future by the Cedar Valley Alumni Association. |
