The Trading Post Lodge, sits on the edge of the large open space known as the Parade Field, opposite the central Dining Hall. Nestled against a stand of mixed hardwood, pine and cedar, the Trading Post offers superb views of widelife such as the numerous deer, as they traverse from the woods to the nearby lakeshore. Completely renovated, the Trading Post offers a quiet setting, with the comfort of home, while still allowing you to enjoy the nature that surrounds. This lodge has retained it's original name "Trading Post" from the days when it served as the camper store and snack bar. Countless thousands of Scouts enjoyed a break from their camp routine seated outside the Trading Post as they enjoyed a cool snack. | |
