1996 SR9 Conclave

1996 Section SR9 Conclave Patch

Description: The 1996 conclave would prove to be the last that lodge 413 would host. Records are not clear but we know that 103 arrowmen from our lodge participated, and that "over 500 arrowmen" attended overall. Even though Friday evening was briefly disrupted by scattered ran, events still went off without a slowdown.

Our evening program Saturday consisted of an inspirational key note talk by Lt.Col. David Grossman. Then the 413 cast & crew, under the direction of Matt Ervin, presented a program entitled A Scouting Carol loosely based on A Christmas Carol.

Continuing the idea first used in 1987, we had both a participant and a staff patch. The version show here with a Black border was for all participants. A Yellow border version was issued for those who worked to setup or run the conclave.

Vice Chief John Travis served as conclave coordinator. The patch was designed by Lodge Staff Adviser, David Morris.
