f2c Flap

Blue Book: F2c

Description: The F2c (per Blue Book) is the resulted from an inventory reorder. Like the F2a/b variants, the F2c seems to be fairly common. The lack of the Black 'tag' threads running from the top of the lodge name letters to the border, combined with the non-Lyons shape make this issue fairly easy to identify. Like the other variants, this issue clarified the arrow fletchings and cloud shape when compared to the F1. One presumption that seems reasonable is that the F2a/b and F2c seem to be found in roughly equal numbers so there are perhaps 4-500 of each, maybe even more.

Period of Issue:   Apx 1962 to 1965
Restrictions:       None
Quantity Issued: Upto 800 (For All Variants)
Characteristics:   Arrow to wearers left; Gray cloud; No Black 'tag' threads from the lodge name to border; Arrow fletchings more realistic than F1; 51x124mm.
