Description: This was our first Fall Fellowship. As a
result it is one of our very hardest to come by issues. It may have been
designed by David Lyttle. This first fellowship of what would become a very
popular annual event was held at the old Methodist Youth Camp on Bear Creek
Lake near Marianna. At the time, the camp consisted of several forest green
buildings including a dining hall and eight cabins. These were located in the
National Forest area and have since been torn down. At one time in the 1930's,
the scouters in that part of the council had plans to build a scout camp at
that location. Mens clubs even raised funds and began negotiations with the
forest service. These plans however never came to pass because terms could not
be worked out. |
Date of Fellowship: November 1966. Location Held: Methodist Youth Camp, Marianna, Arkansas. Quantity Issued: 150. Characteristics: White twill background; Green cut edged; Pocket loop; 85x85mm. |
