2001 Fall Fellowship Patch
"Let the Spirit Guide You"
| Description: 2001 was a difficult year for our lodge.
Financially our council could no longer sustain itself and about a month prior
to the fellowship, a merger with our fellow scouters in Quapaw Area Council was
concluded. While the future of our lodge was uncertain, we determined to move
ahead with our traditional fellowship. Friday evening was marked by various games and open sports competition. Saturday followed with our traditional chapter versus chapter sports contests, powwow and outfitting judging as well as various educational sessions. Chapter 'Jeopardy' where knowledge of our lodge and camp traditions was tested was held. Finally, the big show, this year entitled "The Ties That Bind" was presented and a big cracker barrel followed. Sunday after chapel service, awards were made, and the pending merger of the council was discussed by our advisors, then lodge officer elections for the coming year were held. |
