S24c Flap

Blue Book: S24c

Description: Like the (Blue Book) S24b, this flap is the result of a reorder. The shade of Green in the trees is very close to that of the S24a. The major difference is in the characteristics of the thunderbird. In this variant, the thunderbird can be identified by the virtically stitched bands running straight across the wing areas, and the three small tail feather points which the S24a does not have.

This version is so close in appearance to the S24b that the two are frequently confused. The best way to identify it is to compare the color of the small trees and the shape of the thunderbird. The S24c will have the tree color of the S24a, but the thunderbird shape of the S24b.
