1988 PTR-Camp Cedar Valley Staff Patch

Description:       1988 was the second year of the operation of Camp Cedar Valley under David Morris as camp director. This insignia was a rather interesting design with an easily overlooked hidden meaning. At first glance the patch does not appear to indicate the year of use. Notice however, the Light Blue twill background versus the Dark Green stitching, which forms an "88" for 1988. Look closely and you also see the Yellow moon and fdl "reflected" below. This was the second year in the history of Pine Trail Reservation that we also provided a special staff patch. Like all such staff patches, this one is moderately hard to come by even today.

Camp Location: Viola, Arkansas
Designation:       RT-53
Characteristics: Light Blue twill; Gold Mylar rolled edge; Red "Staff"; 76mm.
