Description: During the 1980's and
into the 1990's we offered a variety of special programs for the older scouts
at various times. One of these was referred to as the "Cedar Valley Rangers"
program. The scouts in this program worked closely with our camp ranger of that
period, Joe Smith, to complete various projects and activities typically beyond
the central camp area. The program was very popular. It operated for several
camping seasons using this basic patch as a special award. There is also a variation of this award discovered in 2006. For details see the issue RT-54:1 |
