Description: In the 1982 camping
season our camp introduced a program for younger scouts needing to work on more
basic advancement skills than just merit badges. These were mainly the
requirements for earning the Tenderfoot, Second and First Class ranks. A
program called the Eagle Trail program supported these scouts through an
organized program at all levels. We initially believed that this patch was first used in 2000 for all scouts who completed the program. Raymond Whiteside however, completed the program in 1995 and received this same patch. So it is very likely that while there were slightly different designs over the years that each could have been used for more than one year. |
